Last year I’ve created a little tool for generation of DX-codes. With my web app DX-Code-Generator you can easily generate any DX-code you need to tell your camera which settings to use. After generation you can either download the image or directly print the pattern. After printing you can use the technique described in this video to get it done.

Always remember:

• not every camera can read DX-codes (mostly camera from the 90’s and 2000’s)
• most cameras will set themselves to ISO 100 if dx-code cant be read
• you need to use aluminum foil or something similar on the white parts of the DX-code
